‘The Real Things’ collection starts from an ongoing urge: what I need to carry every day, the functionality and simplicity of it, how to improve the comfort. Then it needs a dash of fun – a reflection of a personality, but not a brand-logo. The minimalist silhouettes and constructions mirror one’s attitude and confidence, which is especially vital in the age of influence-driven trends.
Following five years of testing, I now only work with ‘Full-Grain’ Norwegian cowhide, vegetable-tanned in France. ‘Full-Grain’ is the best grade of leather that has not undergone any process to remove imperfections. It is the most durable and strongest of all kinds (Genuine-Leather, etc). Because it retains the layer of skin just below the hair, made it breathable. It develops a beautiful patina over time.

The aging process of a ‘Vegetable-tanned leather’ develops colour, property and personality. Additional colour options (such as black, navy, or custom stroke pattern), and a water-repellent finishing can be arranged.
